Who We Are
The Fontainebleau Improvement Association (FIA) is a community organization that works to ensure that our neighborhood is a safe, beautiful, and welcoming community. The FIA is led by an all-volunteer board. The board meets monthly and holds four general membership meetings throughout the year.
Where We’re Located
The neighborhood is bounded by Walmsley Avenue, Audubon Street, Claiborne Avenue and Carrollton Avenue. Centrally located, Fontainebleau is a beautiful New Orleans neighborhood that got its start in the early 20th century.
Sign-Up For Updates
Membership is open to all Fontainebleau neighborhood residents.
What We Offer
One of New Orleans’ newer neighborhoods, many of the homes were built during the craftsman period and reflect California Bungalow, Mission Revival, and Shingle-Style Influences. The charm can be found in the beautiful architecture, large canopy trees and quiet streets. Fontainebleau is a welcoming place to all.
Announcements
No matter where you are going, Fontainebleau is halfway there.
Beyond the beauty, Fontainebleau has a wonderful practicality as it is perfectly situated in the middle of our city. We are just a 10-minute drive to Downtown, the Super Dome, Elmwood, City Park, Audubon Zoo, New Orleans Children’s Hospital, and Magazine Street. The neighborhood has ample access to grocery shopping, restaurants, retail, basic life amenities, and just about anything else you’ll need.
